“Are You Sensible…?” – NPP’s Abronye DC Heavily Blast Ghanaians For Voting ‘Skirt and Blouse’

Loudmouth Bono Regional Chairman for the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye has described Ghanaians or party supporters who engaged in skirt and blouse during the 2020 presidential and parliamentary elections as ‘idiots’.

A footage that has gone viral captures a visibly angry Kwame Baffoe unleashing insults on some members of the NPP who he posited are to blame for the unimpressive performance of the party in the parliamentary polls.

The NPP failed to maintain the Majority status in Ghana’s 8th Parliament of the 4th Republic. In the election that was conducted on December 7, 2020, both NPP and the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) secured 137 parliamentary seats apiece. Andrews Amoako Asiamah, an independent candidate won the Fomena seat and has declared his allegiance to the NPP.

The party had sanctioned Mr. Amoako Asiamah who entered Parliament in 2016 on its ticket for deciding to contest as an independent candidate following some disagreements with constituency executives.

On the back of suggestions that the NPP’s performance in the parliamentary election is below par, Kwame Baffoe, affectionately called Abronye DC argued that members who voted skirt and blouse are responsible for the ‘unfortunate’ development.

What baffles him is the incessant calls by some of these supporters for an appointment.

“You spew gibberish and later send Chairman a message that you want an appointment; you want your mother. Idiot!” he fumed with rage while stressing that executives of the party must not be attacked for the number of seats secured.

“You practice skirt and blouse but call for the head of Chairman Wontumi. You want him to resign? What have you done for the party? How did you vote? Why vote for our presidential candidate and fail to vote for the party’s parliamentary candidate? Are you sensibler than Chairman Wontumi?” he asked.

“You voted for Nana Addo but voted for an NDC parliamentary candidate, but you’re a member of the NPP. You’re now calling us to ask if it will be easy for the government with such parliamentary figures. It will be easy for your mother. Enough of the tomfoolery,” Abronye berated again.

Muntaka Defends Oppong Nkrumah After Rejecting Him And Two Others

Muntaka Mohammed, the Minority Chief Whip, has promised that the National Democratic Congress caucus in parliament will keep their word and ensure that the composition of the eighth parliament is beneficial to the country.

The Minority MPs, he claims, will always act in the best interests of the country and ensure that parliament is not a rubber-stamp institution.

The Asawase MP praised Ghanaians for their support of the Appointments Committee in the vetting of ministerial nominees in an interview with Joy News.

He promised that the Minority MPs will not take the trust of Ghanaians for granted and will hold the government accountable.

“Thanks to the general public and our team, this time’s vetting has been more thorough. More information has come from the general public. They believe that this time, because of the nature of parliament, they will be able to hold people accountable, so the public has been more forthcoming with information.

“We hope that the government will become more accountable. One thing we always say is that we will not be careless. We will be responsible and act in the best interests of the country. He stated, “We will not be rash in our actions.”

Muntaka also confirmed reports that the committee’s thirteen NDC MPs voted against three of the nominees and put five others on hold.

Muntaka, who did not name the nominees, stated that the NDC MPs believe the nominees did not fit the roles based on their performance before the committee.

“We are unable to support their nomination, so they must go to the floor for a vote. Then there are those for whom more information is required. We will not have any issues if the further and better particulars are provided adequately; however, if the further and better particulars are insufficient, we may not be able to approve their nomination.”

Show Leadership By Examples: Go For The Vaccines Instead Of Weeping At Court - Abronye DC Blasts John Mahama

Loudmouth Bono Regional Chairman of the ruling New Patriotic Party (NPP), Kwame Baffoe Abronye known popularly as Abronye DC has descended heavily on former President John Dramani Mahama.

ADV

According to the controversial political figure, the National Democratic Congress (NDC) leader should exhibit leadership by example by campaigning for Ghanaians to engage in the coronavirus vaccines.

It could ve recalled thatHis Excellency President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo Addo and the first lady were in the news after they went for the coronavirus vaccines at the 37 Military Hospital in Accra.

Vice President Bawumia, Apostle Eric Nyamekye of the Church of Pentecost among others all join in as they were caught by our cameras taking the new coronavirus vaccine.

Abronye DC is of the view that former President John Mahama is not patriotic and is indirectly telling Ghanaians who are not easily moved to be deceived by him.

“John Mahama has proven beyond all reasonable doubt that he is not patriotic. How can he look unconcern about taking the vaccine just as the patriotic president of Ghana has done” he said while speaking on Kumasi-based Wontumi TV this morning.

Please Find A Way In Your Heart To Forgive Me-Kennedy Agyapong Sends A Sad Message To Akufo-Addo

Prior to having a very personal relationship with Ghana’s President, Hon Kennedy Agyapong had always thought the President was a radical. He claims that during one of his visits to President Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-house Addo’s when he was an opposition leader, his opinion of him completely changed.

ADV

According to Kennedy, who stated this in an interview with GhanaCNN.com, the President asked what it will take to prevent witch hunts of former appointees, as has been the case in the past.

He said he was then suffering as a businessman because the NDC was not making life better for him, so he told Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo that it was imperative that when the NPP comes they also stifle the growth of NDC businesses.

But the President outlined why it’s unnecessary.

Kennedy Agyapong stated that he is not surprised that Nana Addo Dankwa Akufo-Addo has become a very gentle leader since assuming power, much to the surprise of Ghanaians who expected him to be radical.

He stated that he will not be surprised if the country does not imprison any former government appointee but instead finds a way to make the individual pay the state.
