I Trusted You At The Beginning But I've Now Seen You Are A Coward- Popular NPP Guru Blows An Alarm

Things are becoming increasingly difficult for the new Akufo Addo government, despite the fact that it is still early in the game. The NPP government was practically on vacation during its first term, but I’m sure their grace period is running out, as any minor misstep would be met with harsh criticism.
Constructive criticism is part of the game, but it’s pathetic when it comes from a member of your own party, because it’s obvious that a government will always be criticized by the opposition.

Because of the level of dissatisfaction that the new Akufo Addo-led government has caused among Ghanaians, even those who openly campaigned for him during the 2020 election have turned against him. Who would have guessed things would turn out this way?

Nana Oteatuoso Kokoben II, a prominent chief of one of the Akyem townships, has joined those who previously praised the Akufo Addo administration but have now been victimized by the government’s deceit.

This famous chief was one of the few chiefs who publicly campaigned for the New Patriotic Party prior to the 2020 general elections. Every morning, he was seen at the Wontumi television studios, urging Ghanaians to send Akufo Addo four more years to do more.

Many people were taken aback when this same individual was seen on the same platform calling the Akufo Addo government a major coward. He was enraged because, according to him, one of the NPP’s main campaign promises during the 2016 election was to prosecute and imprison all members of the NDC government who were involved in corruption.

“You gave Ghanaians false hope by claiming that as soon as you take office, your first goal will be to recover all looted state funds and resources from the previous NDC administration. A government where it was apparent that even cabinet ministers were pleading with people to vote for their party because they would be imprisoned if the government changed. Despite the fact that you are now in your second term, those corrupt individuals are seen moving about with trust “, he proclaimed.

What made him even more sad, he said, was the fact that a whole member of Parliament, Hon Sampson Ahi, who was involved in the Sagleme housing fiasco, was brave enough to tell the new NPP government to prosecute him if they had the guts, but no action has been taken on that issue until now.

“I’m starting to believe Akufo Addo is the most cowardly president I’ve ever experienced. He speaks a lot but doesn’t do much. I will still regret spending my time campaigning for the NPP before you stop being a coward and start prosecuting those crooked individuals “, he snarled.
Do you believe that the new NPP government is reluctant to prosecute and imprison NDC members who were involved in unethical activities because he is afraid that his own members will do the same?

Are You Aware Of The Ritual Killings In Ghana: You Have Made Ghana Hard – NDC Blast Akufo Addo In A Press Statement

In a statement, the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC) expressed condolences to the family of the ten-year-old boy who was killed by two teenagers at Kasoa for “money ritual purposes.”

The statement urged President Akufo-Addo to expedite investigations into unsolved crimes committed in the country since he assumed power.

Read the full statement below:

PRESS STATEMENT BY THE NATIONAL DEMOCRATIC CONGRESS ON THE MURDER OF YOUNG ISHMAEL MENSAH ABDALLAH AT KASOA.

It is with extreme shock and disbelief that the National Democratic Congress received news of the gruesome murder of a ten-year-old boy called Ishmael Mensah Abdallah at Kasoa in the Central Region by his own teenaged acquaintances for ritual purposes.

The Leadership, as well as the entire rank and file of the NDC, join the family and friends and, indeed, the entire nation, in mourning the loss of this young and promising boy much beloved by his family and community.

It is the expectation of the National Democratic Congress that the appropriate authorities will ensure that the bereaved family are comforted by the swiftness of the application of the law to punish the perpetrators and all who may be behind this dastardly murder.

The NDC has taken due notice of the fact that there appears to be a fashionable craze toward the acquisition of quick wealth by many of our countrymen and women and the youth in particular, without the attendant hard, morally sound and lawful means of obtaining the same.

We deem this development as a dangerous trend that has to be condemned and discouraged by all and sundry.

It is a development that the NDC is unquestionably opposed to, or else we risk bequeathing to the youth, a practice and a lifestyle that cannot build this nation.

We further wish to draw the attention of the Akufo-Addo government to the plethora of crimes whose resolution has dragged on interminably, thus, encouraging the perpetuation of the culture of impunity.

We encourage the youth to look out for honest, hardworking, and accomplished persons as their role models.

The wealth that has been improperly obtained, should never be an attraction for the upcoming youth of this great nation.

In this regard, we call on the Akufo-Addo government to speed up investigations and crank the wheels of justice so that the country can rid itself of the odious reminder of this unfortunate event.

May the soul of young Ishmael Mensah Abdallah rest in peace.
