Dead Body Of A Popular Chief Missing At Suhum Government Hospital

According to GhanaCNN.com, Paa Dogo, a fetish priest from Sekondi in Ghana’s Western Region, was rushed to the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital on Wednesday morning with a broken heart.

According to an eyewitness who spoke with GhanaCNN.com, Paa Dogo, a mental health expert, was tasked with healing the nurse who was brought to him with psychological issues.

“The lady found out her boyfriend who resides in Accra, was having an affair with her best friend. Life became unbearable for the nurse who later tried committing suicide because of the heartbreak.”

“She was acting abnormally at a point in time so we even thought she was going mad. A friend she made here sent her to Paa Dogo to heal her and help her overcome the heartbreak,” Maame Pokua stated.

A few weeks after she was brought to Paa Dogo, she became better and somehow the two started dating.

“A few weeks through the dating, Paa Dogo went to the nurse’s place to give her pre valentine flowers only to find the nurse’s ex-boyfriend in bed with her. Paa Dogo dropped the flowers and immediately shouted ‘Aw Jesus, I’m dead.”

At the time of the report, he was in a coma receiving medical treatment at the Effia Nkwanta Regional Hospital intensive care unit.

Nana Agradaa And Friends To Be Banned From Doing Adverts On TV From 1st May – Socrate Safo Boldly Decalres

Socrate Safo, the Chairman of the National Film Authority (NFA), has stated that all unapproved and unclassified advertisements involving money rituals or money doubling will be prohibited beginning May 1, 2021.

The chairman revealed that beginning on May 1st, such businesses will be required to go through the offices of the Security and Exchange Commission (SEC) and the Bank of Ghana (BoG) for a license to operate in money-doubling businesses and to run an advertisement to that effect.

Mr Socrate Safo emphasized that businesses and individuals who do not have the necessary licenses to operate such businesses will be denied requests to have their content broadcasted.

“If you approach us with a program and the content is about money doubling, then we expect you to have such a license.

If you are Mallam and you want to double money all we are requiring from you is to show us a license you have from the Security and Exchange Commission and the Bank of Ghana to operate as a money doubler. If you don’t have it, then we can’t classify such content for you,” he noted.

The chairman added that the law on classification was set to be implemented in June last year but some further engagement with Ghana Independent Broadcasters Association (GIBA) caused it to be delayed.

He stressed that from 1st May, with reference to the Development and Classification of film Act 953, contents including documentaries, music videos, television programmes before they are broadcasted will through a strict review by the Authority.

“We (National Film Authority) have been with them (GIBA) back and forth till date and we have set May 1, to start implementing the law and this stage was actually set in collaboration with GIBA. So actually, it has been a matter of engagement with the stakeholders,” he said on JoyNews.
