How To Reset Your Android Phone The Simplest Way

How To Reset Your Android Phone The Simplest Way

If you forget your Android lock screen password, is there a way to unlock your phone? The short answer is no – you will have to factory reset your device to be able to use your phone again. And because all recent versions of Android encrypt the data on your phone by default, there is no way to recover any photos, contacts or other data that you haven’t backed up to your Google account; they will be gone forever after the reset. However, at least your phone will be unlocked and you’ll be able to use it again.

There are two ways to factory reset an Android phone if you’ve forgotten the password and can’t get past the lock screen. The first is to use Google’s Find My Device, which allows you to remotely erase your phone online. If you don’t have Find My Device turned on (it should be on by default), you’ll have to use the second method, Android’s “Recovery Mode”.

It’s critical to note that resetting your phone through either of these methods will require you to know your Google account and password that was used to set up the phone. If you don’t have this information, the device will be permanently locked. This security measure is in place to prevent a thief from using your device after factory resetting it.

How to reset your Android phone through Find My Device

  • Go to android.com/find. If you’re not already, sign in to your Google account that is the main profile on your device. And if you have more than one device, select the phone you want to erase at the top left of the screen.
  • Select ERASE DEVICE
  • Click the ERASE DEVICE button
  • Follow the steps to set up your phone again – note that you will need to verify the Google account information you originally used to set up the phone in order to proceed with setting up the device.

Moto G20 Specifications Leak Tips Camera Details, Android 11 Ahead of Launch

Moto G20 specifications and renders have leaked once again with some additional camera details. The phone is expected to launch soon as a budget-friendly offering from Motorola, but the company has not shared a release date yet. The new leak also comes with renders of the Moto G20 that coincide with what we have previously seen in other leaks. The phone is expected to carry a quad rear camera setup and a notch for the selfie shooter.

Moto G20 specifications (expected)

Nils Ahrensmeier of TechnikNews tweeted the Moto G20 specifications and renders. According to the tweet, the phone will have a 6.5-inch HD+ IPS display and be powered by a Unisoc T700 SoC. The Moto G20 is expected to have a quad rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens, an 8-megapixel sensor with an ultra-wide-angle f/2.2 lens, a 2-megapixel macro shooter with an f/2.4 aperture, and a 2-megapixel depth sensor with an f/2.4 lens. A 13-megapixel sensor could be housed in a notch on the front.

Moto G20 is said to be backed by a 5,000mAh battery and come with Android 11 out of the box. The tweet mentions a 4GB RAM + 64GB variant of the phone, which will presumably be one of the configurations.

Ahrensmeier’s renders show a phone with thick bezels on three sides and an even thicker chin. On the back, the Motorola logo can be seen, which will most likely house a fingerprint scanner. There appears to be a 3.5mm headphone jack on top, as well as a USB Type-C port on the bottom. On the right side, the phone could also have a dedicated Google Assistant button.

The majority of these details were previously leaked, along with some additional specifications such as a 720×1,200 pixel resolution display, a 20:9 aspect ratio, a pixel density of 269 ppi, and a refresh rate of 90Hz. While the most recent leak shows a Blue Moto G20, the previous leak showed a Red variant as well. When it is released, the phone is expected to cost around Rs. 10,000.

Motorola has not released any information about the Moto G20 as of yet, and it is unclear when the phone will be unveiled.
