Mahama’s Comment That You Can’t Criticise Till You Become President Was The Truth – Oboy Siki

Popular Kumawood actor, Oboy Siki has stated that President Akufo-Addo and his Vice, Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia have failed to live up to expectations.

According to him, their incompetency has confirmed former President John Dramani Mahama’s comment that you cannot criticize a president till you get the opportunity to hold the office.

Ahead of the 2016 polls, Mr Mahama after being called ‘incompetents’ severally by Dr Bawumia had said that then-candidate Akufo-Addo and Bawumia cannot call him incompetent when they’ve not had a taste of the presidency before.

Oboy Siki believes that over five years of taking over power, President Akufo-Addo and Bawumia have failed to deliver as Ghanaians expected, and even fellow NPP members are disappointed in them.

‘Prez Akufo Addo and Bawumia Have A PhD In Lies And Deceit’ – NDC national organizer

Joshua Hamidu Akamba, national organizer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has claimed that President Akufo Addo and Bawumia are experts at deceiving Ghanaians.
According to Akamba, his description of Ghana’s first and second gentlemen as dishonest men is appropriate given the NPP government’s failure to deliver on its promises to the electorate.

His remarks follow the President’s refund of GH238,000 to the Controller and Accountant General’s Department.

The funds represent his salary increase as a result of the recommendations of the Presidential Emoluments Committee, which is chaired by Prof. Yaa Ntiamoa-Baidu.

Following the constant lies of Ghana’s incumbent president and his right-hand man, Bawumia, Joshua Akamba made the above-mentioned assertion in an interview on Accra-based Neat FM.

They are “specialists in deception and lies.”

“How long did he [President Nana Addo] take to refund that money? Was it [Money] not showing up in his account?” he inquired.

Kwame Apenteng, a member of the ruling New Patriotic Party’s (NPP) communications team, has questioned former President John Dramani Mahama’s sanity following his do or die comment.

Mr Mahama, he claims, has been in a bad mood since his defeat in the 2020 elections.

He stated on Happy FM that Mahama is not known to be a violent man, but his recent do-or-die remark suggests he’s had a mental breakdown.

He praised Kwabena Duffuor of the NDC for standing up to Mahama and criticizing his remark.

“I am grateful to Kwabena Duffour for doing that. I’m glad he stated that now is the time for peace and cooperation, not violence and division. Leadership is not about ego or even Election Day, but about putting Ghanaians’ health, prosperity, and safety first every day, all year. Our children are hungry, and our people are in need; instead of fighting, let us work together for the betterment of all.”
