Sad: President Akufo-Addo Commissions Transformer In Volta Region – Watch Video

On Friday, September 10, President Akufo-Addo has begun his nationwide tour in the Volta Region, a stronghold of the opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC).

President Akufo Addo made his presence in the region known, as well as interacted with people in the region about the government’s programs, policies, and development agenda.

However, a video that has gone viral on social media shows some NDC members who appear to be very concerned about the president commissioning a transformer in Anfoega.

The video posted with the caption reads; Akufo-Addo was in Volta Region yesterday with about 54 V8s to commission this transformer. Let us clap for this mediocre President.

Wli Traditional Areas have the honor to host the President to discuss the development of their localities.

He later depart to the North Dayi District where he pays a courtesy call on the Paramount Chief of the Anfoega Traditional Area and President of the Volta Regional House of Chiefs, Togbe Tepre Hodo IV.

The President is expected to commission a lorry park and storm drain in Anfoega before departing to Ho.

Takoradi Again! Police Arrest 1 Woman And 2 Others For Faking A Kidnap With Ransom Of GH₵ 5,000.00

According to a report gathered from the Ghana Police Service (GPS), three persons have been arrested by the police division after planning a fake kidnapping incident.

The Ghana Police in their Facebook report shared as gathered by GhanaCNN.com that, the Takoradi Divisional Police Command has arrested three suspects, Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, aged 27 and Francis Eshun, aged 27 for allegedly faking a kidnap and demanding a ransom of Five-Thousand Ghana Cedis (GH₵ 5,000.00).

It could be recalled that a Takoradi woman dominated the media space for months recently after he came up with her controversial pregnancy and kidnapping case.

Josephine Panyin Mensah Simons who was at the center of the brouhaha was later exposed for faking the said kidnap.

Joana Krah, aged 29; Susana Awortwe, aged 27 and Francis Eshun, aged 27 also comes in with another fake kidnap as they make numerous attempts to receive a ransom of GH₵ 5,000.00.

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) has won the hearts of many Ghanaians again after arresting a suspect in a video that has since gone viral.

In the video, a young guy was caught brandishing a gun and ended the video with a comment that says ”Kill Them All”.

GhanaCNN.com gathered the video from the official Facebook page of the Ghana Police Service (GPS) which reads:

“As indicated a short while ago, below is the widely circulated video in which the dangerous armed robbery and murder Suspect, Godstrong Tettey (who has been arrested) was brandishing a pistol.

He was arrested at Adeiso and items retrieved from him include two Pump action guns, one locally manufactured pistol, and one new foreign-manufactured pistol.”

Ghana Police Service Mourn Two Officers Who Perished In A Fatal Accident

The Ghana Police Service (GPS) sadly mourns two of its police officers who were serving mother Ghana but met their untimely death in a gory road accident.

In a Facebook post, the Ghana Police Service announced that two of its officers were involved in a fatal accident on October 21, 2021 as gathered by GhanaCNN.com

The statement from the police service further stated that it was a black Thursday for them since the officers who passed on were well-trained officers in the service of policing.
