Ghana Records A Rise In HIV Cases Among Pregnant Women – NACP

A pregnant student has claimed that she is currently unsure who is to blame for her being placed in the family way.

According to the student, she slept with three men during the time she was taking seed, but she doesn’t consider any of her fuck lads to be possible spouses since they don’t fit her requirements.

She sought assistance from Joro Olumofin, a relationship blogger.

Her post reads in part:

“I’m currently pregnant but I saw my pe.riod last week and doctor said I’ve been pregnant for almost two months now. My issue now is that I don’t know the father.

I don’t know what is happening but I’m not ready to be a mother. I don’t know what is happening. I suspect three guys and all are not the type I want for a father. One has money but he is not loyal at all.”

Controller And Accountant General To Refund Tax Deducted On Teachers Professional Allowance

The Controller and Accountant General Department (CAGD) according to the Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) is to refund a said tax deduction on the payment of Teachers Continuous Professional Development Allowance.

According to November 2021 government payroll validation voucher, there was a said deduction of Ghc100 from the payment of the Teachers Continuous Professional Development Allowance for the year.

This according to the Ghana National Association of Teachers (GNAT) and Coalition of Concerned Teachers (CCT) is not appropriate and therefore wouldn’t be deducted.

According to the Ashanti Regional Secretary of CCT, the same deduction was seen while validating the payment for the allowance package in 2020 but upon notifying CAGD on the memorandum between the government that the allowance is tax-free, the deductions were reversed.

“…we have received notice on the said tax deduction on the Professional Teachers Allowance but we can assure our members that the said deductions will be reversed…” -Mr Oppong said. while speaking on Kumasi-based Pure FM.
